Shirley M Carroll, age 77, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 1:00 pm Thursday, September 7, 2023, at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Grand View Funeral Home. Pastor Bill Haffner will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand View Burial Park.
Visitation celebrating Shirley's life will be held 10:00 am until time of service Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the Grand View Funeral Home.
Shirley was born on February 25, 1946, to James and Rosalie (Hawkins) Pflum.
She is survived by a Son, Mark Salter (Lisa) of New London, MO; Daughter, Lori Salter of Hannibal, MO; Special friend Wes Mitchell; Brother, Glenn Pflum; Two Sisters, Diane Ronimous, and Christine Taylor; Two Granddaughters, Shelbey Pettitt, Macey Salter; Grandson, Taylor (TJ) Danehy and his fiancé Micah; Great-grandson, Tucker Danehy; .
She was preceded in death by her parents, a Son, Michael P Salter; a brother, Jimmy Pflum; and three Sisters, Marilyn Willing, Donna Beard, and Vicky Hackman; .
Shirley retired from General Mills, and later was a door greeter for Walmart greeting people with a smile on her face and making them feel welcome.
Shirley was a member of Riverview Church of the Nazarene.
Shirley loved to sit laughing with her son Mark while watching old TV shows. She enjoyed family gatherings and spending the Holiday's surrounded by her family. She was always willing to step in and take the place of "parent" for her grandchildren at school activities when mom and dad couldn't make it. She was a loyal Donald Trump supporter. She loved going to church, she attended 1st Assembly of God and then later Riverview Church of the Nazarene and was always willing to talk with anyone about the bible.

Honorary Pallbearers: All of her loving Nieces and Nephews.
