Dale Cross

Dale Alan Cross, age 73 of Hannibal, MO, died May 2, 2024 at Blessing Hospital.

A memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 11, at the Grand View Funeral Home.

Dale was born June 8, 1950 in Hannibal, the son of Edward and Alice Stewart. On July 8, 1978 he married Sharon K Cross his wife of eleven years, only to reunite with her a few years later to continue their lifelong journey together.

Dale graduated from Hannibal High School. He worked at Gardner Denver and Huber Inc. where he retired after 26 years of service. Dale was a hard worker. Dale enjoyed collecting rare coins and baseball cards.he enjoyed spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed sitting around the fire at night discussing life with his stepson Davey John.

Survivors include his lifelong companion Sharon Cross, two stepchildren; Terri (Jim) Olson of Dallas City, IL, David (Kathy) Clifford of Quincy, IL. 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He also is survived by his Aunt Anna Mae Bledsoe and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Cross and many uncles and aunts.
