Georgia M. Gibbs, 89, of Hannibal, MO, died at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at the Beth Haven Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 6, 2017, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Milton Baumgardner will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Georgia was born on May 15, 1927, in Center, MO, the daughter of George D. and Lula Mae Hart Howald. She married Kenneth Gibbs, and he preceded her in death.
Her parents; one brother, Richard Howald; and a sister, Anne Clark also preceded her in death.
She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Adkisson; one son, David Gibbs; four grandchildren, Amy Smith, Shannon Fleming, Ashley Janiec and Andrew Adkisson; three great grandchildren, Aiden Janiec, Jaelynn Smith, Lillian Mae Smith; and one foster child, Bobby Riding.
She loved square dancing, Sewing and Crocheting. Georgia worked in the Wolverine Shoe factory and as a care giver for Darrel Stark.
