Joseph Allen Reeves, 77, of Hannibal, MO, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015, at his residence in Hannibal, MO.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 1, 2015, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Standing on The Rock Ministries Church in Hannibal. Pastors Jamey Dyke and Lance Bonnell will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Joseph was born on January 19, 1938, in Bunker, MO, the son of Clarence Reeves and Stella Tucker Reeves. He married Gloria Shulten on August 9, 1976 in Hannibal, MO, and she survives.
His parents and one son, Joey Reeves, preceded him in death.
He is survived by three daughters, Sherry (Randy) McNeal, Teresa (Denny) McCullough, both from Hannibal, MO, and Melissa (Lance) Bonnell of Durham, MO; three sons, Terry (Tammy) Reeves, of Jacksonville, IL, Danny (Amy) Dyke and Jamey Dyke, both of Hannibal, MO; seven brothers, Benny (Betty) Reeves and Elijah (Gladys) Reeves both from Burlington, IA, Charlie (Marie) Reeves of St. Louis, MO, Clinton(Linda) Reeves of Palmyra, MO, Donald (Kathy) Reeves of Hannibal, MO, David (Jan) Reeves of Rolla, MO, and Frankie (Jeanie) Reeves of Hannibal, MO; one sister Dorothy (Jim) Nelson of Pacific, MO; 19 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Joseph loved his music, blue grass being his favorite. Joseph and Gloria were the owners and operators of Injun Joe Opry for several years.
Pallbearers are Danny Dyke, Michael Rush, Randy McNeal Jr, Donald Reeves, Robbie Parker and Randy McNeal.
Joseph believed in God and attended Standing on The Rock Church.
Joseph will be sadly missed by family and friends.
