Laura M. Bell, 84, of Hannibal, MO, died at 11:15 p.m. on August 17, 2017, at Luther Manor Nursing Facility.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 24, 2017, from 11 a.m. until time of services at the Grand View Funeral Home, in Hannibal.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Milton Baumgardner will officiate.
Laura was born on December 19, 1932, in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of Paul and Carrie Johnston Hayden. She married Archie Bell on September 4, 1954, and he survives.
Her parents, and a son, David Bell, preceded her in death.
She is also survived by one daughter, Denise Bell; a sister, Imogene Roberts; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
After their marriage Archie and Laura moved to England for four years while Archie served in the United States Air Force. Laura worked as a secretary for school districts in Mississippi and Tennessee before returning to Hannibal for retirement. Laura enjoyed square dancing and traveling with Archie.
