Norma Sue Ellison

Norma "Sue" Ellison went to her eternal home February 6, 2023. Memorial service will be at Grand View Funeral Home & Burial Park on May 13, 2023 at 11:00. Rev Tom Day will officiate. Friends and family are invited to attend. Visitation will be from 11:00 to 11:30. Service at 11:30 with interment following.
Norma "Sue" Ellison was born September 15, 1934 to Donald and Norma Kempinsky Brothers. Sue married Eldon D Ellison on August 10, 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eldon D Ellison, her son Jay D Ellison, her sisters and their spouses Marjorie and Clayborn Hayden and Patricia and Donald Calhoun, She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Sue was a homemaker and a realtor. She was a avid dog lover especially her Labradors Lady and Tea'. She was a Christian by faith. She was a member for many years of the Olivet Christian Church in Center, Mo and the Oakwood Christian Church in Hannibal, Mo.
The family would like to thank all the Staff and Nurses at Maple Lawn Nursing Home and Community Loving Care Hospice for the excellence in care , kindness, and compassion for our Aunt Sue.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Maple Lawn Nursing Home and to the Northeast Missouri Humane Society.
