Opal Pearl Haydon, 96, of Hannibal, MO, died at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2015, at the Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal, MO.

Visitation will be Friday, August 14, 2015, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Deacon Bill Bouyea will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.

Opal was born on Wednesday, March 12, 1919, in Woodville, MO, the daughter of Porter and Appie Vie Brammer. She married Carl Haydon in 1936, and he preceded her in death.

Her parents; two brothers, John Haydon and Albert Haydon; three sisters, Nina Graves, Mary Herrin and Lillian Brammer, also preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Gary (Jana) Haydon of Wentzville, MO; two grandchildren, Stephanie Faye (Steve) North and Christopher Wayne (Bridget) Haydon; six great grandchildren, Brandon, Chelsea, Justin, Michael, Andrew and Laura; three great great grandchildren, Liam, Oliver and Kayleigh.

Pallbearers are Skip Kirby, Jacob Gibson, Justin Gibson, Ron Gibson, Richard
Gibson and Larry Craig

Opal had been a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Hannibal. She and Carl had owned and operated a dairy farm in Ralls County for 26 years. Opal loved to quilt, garden and crochet. Opal will be sadly missed by family and friends
