Peggy M Blaine

Peggy M Blaine, age 74, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 8:58 am Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Grand View Funeral Home. Pastor Jeff Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand View Burial Park.

A visitation celebrating Peggy’s life will be held at 12:00 pm until time of service, Tuesday August 6, 2024 at the Grand View Funeral Home.

Peggy was born on August 23, 1949, in Lewis County, the daughter of Rollie and Willa Dee (Runyon) Florea. They precede her in death.

Peggy was united in marriage to Myron D Blaine on January 24, 1970, in Edina, MO.

Peggy is survived by her Husband, Myron D Blaine of Hannibal. Two Sons, Bill Blaine (Kelsey) of Hannibal, MO, Matt Blaine (Becky) of Blue Springs, MO; a brother, Ricky Florea (Phyllis) of AZ; a sister, Vicky Currier (Glen) of Kirksville, MO; Deena Blaine, of Hannibal, MO; Four Grandsons, Christian Blaine (BC) of Hannibal, MO, Micah Blaine (Richy) of Hannibal, MO, Levi Blaine of Hannibal, MO, Easton Blaine of Blue Springs, MO; Two Step Grandsons, Laine Brandon, Landry Crisp; Three Granddaughters, Emma Blaine (Dalton) of Hannibal, MO, Avery Blaine of Blue Springs, MO, and Kate Blaine of Blue Springs, MO; and three Great grandchildren.

Professionally Peggy worked as Administrative Assistant to the President for Hannibal LaGrange University.

Peggy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Peggy was an avid reader and was known to read three novels a week. She and Myron cared about people, especially their neighbors, and spent countless hours helping, serving, and even watching over the post office for the apartments. She loved to walk and would walk two miles a day. Peggy was an amazing grandmother and she loved spending time with her grandkids and her great grandkids. And most of all Peggy loved her Lord and Savior Jesus. She worshipped Him and filled her home with the gentle Spirit of His Love for all who entered it.
