Robert L. Adams (Bob), 64, of Monroe City, MO, formally of Hannibal, MO, died at 1:40 a.m. on March 1, 2020 at his daughter's home in Hannibal, MO.
Robert was born on November 29, 1955, in Carrollton, IL, the son of Walter L. and Mary L. (Jackson) Adams. He married Rhonda Sue Kibler on June 29, 1974, in Hannibal, MO, and she survives.
Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2020, at Grand View Funeral Home, from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 11 a.m. at the United Pentecostal Church of Palmyra, MO. Reverend Robert Axton will be officiating.
Robert is survived by two daughters, RaChella D. (Jeffery) Brookhart and RaChauna D. (Matthew) Harding; one sister Susan Adams Gilstrap; one brother Larry Adams; five grandchildren, RaCayla Adams, Rachel Harding, Lillian Harding, Kaleb Brookhart, Jonah Harding; seven nieces and nephews, Josh Thomas, Jeanny Riley, Jessica Kelly, Jacob Simms, Austin Adams, Amanda Schuh and Jackie Hall; and many great nieces and nephews, and many special friends.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Dallas M. Kibler; mother-in-law, Elizabeth I. Kibler; brother-in-law, Dallas Lynn Kibler and a brother-in-law Reverend Earnest Gilstrap.
Robert worked for many years as a production supervisor at Watlow Industries. He was very active in church functions, and served the children's ministry and youth activities at the United Pentecostal Church in Hannibal at 11th & Broadway, under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Calvin S. Albert and at the United Pentecostal Church of Palmyra, MO., under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Robert Axton.
He enjoyed fishing with his sons-in-law and grandchildren any chance he could get. He also loved maintaining lawns, and spent many hours doing so for several families in the Hannibal area. Bob was very loved and will be missed by so many in the community.
