Willyn Jorenby

Willyn Jorenby, age 89, of Palmyra, MO passed away at 9:55 am Thursday, November 21, 2024, at her home. 

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Grand View Burial Park. Joy Kimbril will officiate.

A visitation celebrating Willyn will be held at 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday November 25, 2024 at the Grand View Funeral Home. 

Willyn was born on March 13, 1935, in San Antonio, TX to William and Elorine (Nau) Heye.

She was united in marriage to Philip C. Jorenby at St. Johns Lutheran Church in San Antonio, TX on June 5th, 1956.

She is survived by her son, Bill Jorenby of Palmyra, MO; Daughter, Lisa Steinbrueck (Randy) of Palmyra, MO; Two Granddaughters, Joy Kimbril, Faith Harrison; Great-grandson, Jackson O'Connor; Great-granddaughter, Elaina O'Connor; . 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Elorine Heye; her husband Philip C. Jorenby; and three Sisters, Evelyn Cherry, Lou Olga Finney, Elorine Reichert.

Professionally Willyn worked as a church librarian at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Panama City Florida

Willyn was a skilled seamstress and loved music. She was an accomplished musician playing the piano and the saxophone. Her greatest passion was to direct the bell choir. She gave thirty years of her life to bringing music through the bells to the people of the community.
