Wynona Eva Taylor, 85, of Center, MO, died at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2017, at the Westview Nursing Home in Center.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017, from 1 to 2 p.m., at Grand View Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Tom Day will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Wynona was born on August 11, 1931, in Moberly, MO, the daughter of Thomas and Millie K. Justus Welch. She was then adopted by James and Marie Sanders. She married Chester Taylor in Kansas City, MO, on June 15, 1989, and he preceded her in death.
Preceding her in death were her parents, adopted parents; four brothers, Roy L. Welch, Thomas J. Welch, Thomas Welch Jr. and James Welch; seven sisters, Geneva P. Welch, Elizabeth M. Welch, Lorena Welch, Pansy Welch, Daisy A. Welch, Wynona M. Welch and Betty Mudd; two sons, Richard L. Schwanke and James E. Schwanke; and a daughter, Wilma Charlene Schwanke.
She is survived by two sons; William G. Schwanke Jr. and Danny Joe Schwanke; three daughters, Nora (Tom) Meadows, Margaret (Robert) St. Clair, Diana (Terry) Goodman; one brother, James (Dianne) Welch; three sisters, Mary (Bud) White, Aileen (David) Nelson and Rose (Donald) Rickord; a daughter-in-law, Tammy Schwanke; many nieces and nephews; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Rob St. Clair, Brandon Essig, Trevor Crider, Blake Crider, Jamen Goodman, and Andrew Jennings.
Wynona played guitar and sang Blue Grass music and was a rodeo queen.
