Karen Sue Roach, age 81, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 2:00 am Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Beth Haven Nursing Home.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of Grand View Funeral Home. A memorial service is being planned by the family to take place at Tabernacle of Praise.
Karen was born on August 18, 1941, in Hannibal the daughter of Joseph and Goldie (Williams) Perkins. She graduated from Hannibal High School. She married Robert Roach June 28, 1959, at Prince Avenue Baptist Church.
Karen was a stay home mom raising her three children and enjoyed crafting with her husband. She was a member of Tabernacle of Praise Assembly of God Church. In her lifetime she served in the Bus and Children Ministries of the church. Later in life she worked parttime at the Saverton Post Office.
Survivors include her husband Robert, two sons: Kevin (Eunice), Keith, a daughter, Keri (Kevin) Haner, a sister-in-law, Pat (Dennis) Bradley, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family of Rose Mary Patterson-Perkins, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Montie Perkins, Jared Williams, Rose Mary Perkins a lifelong friend and stepmom, Peggy Patterson, a daughter-in-law, Sandy Roach, and a sister-in-law, Jeanie Williams.
